Ritchie Righteous - Daring To Be Different
While others are trying to "Blow Up the Spot!" Ritchie Righteous aka Double R is trying to "Flood the Market with the Gospel." His vision is to take back music for Christ and flood the music industry and the world with the Gospel of Christ.
Double R is off to a good start. His CD Censorship created a buzz within the industry, infusing bangin beasts and Christ centered lyricism he tackled some of the major issues we face in society. One track in particular caught our attention, Flip The Channel as it dealt with all of the different negative and destructive and even seductive images comin at us from every angle T.V., Music, the Internet and Magazines and how there is censorship when it comes to telling the world that Jesus Saves.
Ritchie Righteous shared some insight about his desire to break Billboard records with his latest highly anticipated project R.I.C.H. (Resting In Christ' Hands) during an interview with RapFest Creator Bert Bocachica over at the IllSpot. (Peep the Interview) R.I.C.H. is slated for release this year, and Ritchie is shooting for 50,000 CD sales during the first week it is released. In the interview he makes some valid points about making the industry take notice, and 50,000 in opening week would definitely make the industry take notice especially considering the fact that Ritchie boldly declares the name of Jesus in his music.
Double R has been heating up the summer already with the Hot Track Do Wut It Do, and he keeps things flowing at work while we listen to Christ Uncensored Radio, there's no show like it! His unique Hip Hop Reggae style sets him apart from the crowd.
Ritchie Righteous believes that once more people are aware of the availability of this type of music and get the chance to experience it they will love it! We support what he is doing and want to encourage him to keep making it do Wut it do!
